We believe the Bible is the perfect Word of God and it reveals to us everything we need to know about God, ourselves, his will, and how to live for his pleasure and glory. We believe that the whole Bible tells the story of the gospel. We think the best messages are those that let the Bible speak for itself, where the speaker explains what the passage means instead of using it to support what he wants to say, and where the speaker shows how each passage tells us the good news of the gospel. We also try to teach through whole books of the Bible on a regular basis because we want to get as much of what God has to say as we can without skipping over certain parts. All of this flows from our belief that the ultimate authority in our lives is God and that he speaks to us primarily by his Spirit through his written Word.
